H. Chapman "Chappy" McKay was appointed by the Commissioners on February 18, 2002 to fill an unexpired term. He was elected to the Commission in September 2002. His current term will expire in 2008. Mr. McKay received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the College of Charleston in 1986. He is Director of Business Development with Trident Construction Company, Inc. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Charleston, the Charleston Regional Chamber of Commerce and the South Carolina Economic Developers Association.
